Weekly Reflection ~ August 16th 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time
August15,2015
Again this Sunday’s readings remind us of the importance of the Eucharist.
Jesus assures us that in partaking of his body and blood we will remain in Him and He will remain in us. The grace we receive will transform us and help us become more in tune with God’s love. We will hunger for what is good and grow in our desire to imitate Christ.
This transformation will happen little by little as the Spirit works within us. Each time you receive the Eucharist, ask the Spirit to help you to respond more fully to the grace you have been given.
