Some people are fond of declaring that they have been “born again” or are “saved” as though it meant that their stand on an issue had to be right and what they did had to be good. It would be wonderful if discipleship were as simple as saying a few words. Yes, we have been saved - all of us. We did not earn it nor are we forced to accept it. Awareness that we have been saved should open us to God’s grace and lead us to awareness.
