There are times when we know we have really made a mess of things. We have done or not done something that we know was a very bad choice. It can be very easy to slide into depression and self-loathing and even despair.

At these times, it is good to reflect on Peter’s story. He denied Christ three times! But, look at how Christ treated him. He did not focus on Peter’s failure but on his strength. He asked Peter, “Do you love me?” In reaffirming his love for Christ - “Feed my sheep.” The Lord asks us the same question - What will you answer?
