Weekly Reflection ~ August 28th 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time
August31,2016
Humility is a highly valued but often misunderstood virtue. Humility does not mean minimizing or negating our gifts nor the resources we have been blessed with. Rather, it is remembering that all we have—talents and wealth—are gifts from God. It means we are realistic and acknowledge the gifts we
have and those that others have. These gifts have been given to us so that we may serve others.
Humility does not use a rating scale, it respects and honors others and seeks to serve.
How humble are you?
