Weekly Reflection ~ January 31st 4th Sunday in Ordinary Time
January31,2016
No matter what our gifts and abilities, no matter how others may praise and appreciate them, they are worthless if we lack love.
Love is not an emotion that rises and falls with the changing winds. Love is a choice we make on how to treat others. Love demands that we put the needs of others before our own, that we respect them and forgive them.
How well do you love others? Do you make an effort to treat others with respect and kindness? What can you do to become more aware of the needs of those around you?
Ask the Spirit to help you become a reflection of God’s love to all you meet.
